Link PAN Aadhar It is mandatory to link a pan card with an Aadhar number for every pan card holder in India. According to the CBDT circular, every PAN card holder has to mandatorily link their Aadhaar and PAN before the prescribed date.
Section 139AA of the Income Tax Act provides that every individual who has been allotted a Permanent Account Number (PAN) as of the 1st day of July 2017, and who is eligible to obtain an Aadhaar number shall intimate their Aadhar card with PAN number.
How to PAN Aadhar Link Online?
1. Visit the income tax department’s official website to link your PAN Aadhar online.
2. Go to the Quick Links section on the homepage.
3. Click on ‘Link Aadhar’ and follow the process.
4. Now enter your PAN card Number and Aadhar number then click on ‘Validate’
5. Now pay late fees through E-Pay Tax using a debit card/credit card/UPI or net banking.
6. After successful payment follow the first step to link your PAN card with your Aadhar Number.
your PAN card will be linked after completing the process from the income tax department.
How to Check PAN Aadhar Link Status Online?
1. Visit the income tax department’s official website to link your PAN Aadhar online.
2. Go to the Quick Links section on the homepage.
3. Click on ‘Link Aadhar Status’ and follow the process.
4. Now enter your PAN card Number and Aadhar number then click on ‘View Link Aadhar Status’.
Now your PAN Aadhar link status is displayed.

(iii) age > 80 years as on date
(iv) state of residence is ASSAM, MEGHALAYA, or JAMMU & KASHMIR
