Ration Card DBT Status: On Monday, July 10, 2023, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah launched the direct benefit transfer under the Anna Bhagya program. This measure has temporarily excluded millions of additional people, but it is expected to provide assistance to 1.06 crore ration cardholders in the state. According to the Karnataka Ration Card DBT Status, approximately 22 lakh families below the poverty line will not receive immediate aid due to a shortage of bank accounts. The state administration has announced the distribution of an additional five kilograms of rice, but instead, it is sending money (₹170 per month) to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

Under the Anna Bhagya scheme, the Karnataka government has decided to provide cash benefits at the rate of Rs 34 per kilogram for the additional 5 kilograms of rice to every member of Below Poverty Line (BPL) households and ‘Antyodaya’ households under the free rice scheme. This financial aid will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries linked to the Aadhaar numbers of the BPL family heads.
According to the Karnataka government, there are a total of 1.28 crore ration cards for ‘Antyodaya Anna Yojana and Priority Households’ in Karnataka.
What is Anna Bhagya Scheme?
The Anna Bhagya scheme, which promises to provide an additional 5 kilograms of rice to Below Poverty Line (BPL) cardholders, was one of the five election promises made by the Congress before the May 10 Assembly polls.
Out of the total 10 kilograms of rice, 5 kilograms will be provided by the Central government, which beneficiaries have been receiving for a long time. The state government has announced an additional five kilograms of rice, but in exchange, it is transferring money (₹170 per month) to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

2. Now, you need to click on the “E-Services” from the menu tab.
3. Now, click on the “DBT status” link.
4. Select the month and year, and enter your ration card number (RC number) and click “Continue”.
5. Your Anna Bhagya scheme DBT status will be displayed on the screen.

Step 01. To check the ration card DBT status Karnataka, visit the official website ahara.kar.nic.in.
Step 02. Now, on the homepage of this website, you will need to click on the “E-Services” option in the main menu.
Step 03. Next, a new page will open, and you will see the “E-Status” option in the menu. Click on it.
Step 04. Click on the option “DBT Status” from the right side menu.
Step 05. Now, you will be redirected to a new web page where the name of your district, department, or region will be displayed.
Step 06. Click on the department, district, or region name that appears there.
Step 07. On the new page, you will see “DBT Status” written, click on it.
Step 08. Now, select the year and month for checking the DBT status.
Step 09. Next, enter the Ration Card Number and type in the CAPTCHA code, and then click on the “Go” button.
